The IBJJF has not officially approved this set for uniform compliance. Several athletes have successfully worn it to compete at major IBJJF events. However, one athlete was not allowed to wear this set to compete despite the fact that she had successfully worn it at a previous IBJJF event - and while other athletes were wearing it at the same event that day. Our messages to the IBJJF regarding the issue have been so far unanswered. We suggest athletes bring a backup and we do not take responsibility for the discretion of the IBJJF or any other organization regarding uniform compliance.
