The armpit venting is SO nice because sweat is always to be had when training jiu jitsu, so any cooling offered is a must. I haven't had a v neck type rashguard before and I surprisingly love it! This design makes movement comfortable (doesn't bind up at throat) and still keeps things modest for a busty individual like me (you're welcome, training partners!).
