This light-as-a-feather men's Jiu Jitsu gi features custom-made fabrics engineered for superior breathability without compromising durability. This is the perfect lightweight competition gi for men who need to make weight for an upcoming BJJ competition - or for men who just want to keep from overheating while they are training Jiu Jitsu.

This premium men's BJJ gi features light and breathable 240 GSM Gingham Twill weave pants and a 380 GSM Pearl weave jacket. Our kimono fabrics are engineered from scratch, and optimized for strength, comfort, and breathability. The process begins by sourcing ultra-premium superfine cotton yarns that maintain softness through wash cycles. Our team of expert textile enthusiasts then develop these fibers into an ultralight weave for an incredibly light and breathable men's BJJ gi. The cuffs, hems, knees, groin, and waist splits are all structurally reinforced to ensure maximum resistance at all high-stress points during intense BJJ training.

The back of our men's gi jacket boasts clever stitching patterns that provide definition and shape to counter the typical boxy nature of Jiu Jitsu kimonos. Gaidama's men's gis were designed for men who want to train in the gi and look good doing it.

Gaidama's men's gi pants feature a slightly stretchy, odor-resistant drawstring. The slight stretch in the drawcord helps the gi pants knot from coming undone - no matter how many hard rounds you roll.

The design of Gaidama's comp ultralight gi is subtle. Our color-matching embroidery featuring the Gaidama logo offers a truly minimalist aesthetic in line with Gaidama’s signature "Ninja Suit" look. The only other outward-facing details are small woven labels indicating the composition and GSM of the men's gi pants and jacket, in compliance with IBJJF's latest competition uniform guidelines.

At Gaidama, we know that bodies come in all shapes and sizes and we believe that all men who do Jiu Jitsu deserve a gi that fits them just right. We also offer men's BJJ gis in a huge range of sizes and lengths to accommodate male grapplers of all heights, weights, and shapes. Our short gi pants are perfect for shorter men, our regular length gi pants fit men of average height, and our tall and extra tall gi pants are a great option for lanky or big and tall men in BJJ who need the extra length to pass uniform inspection. Many of our men's gi jackets also come in multiple length options to fit male Jiu Jitsu athletes with short or long arms. Shrinkage: Even preshrunk cotton washed cold and hung dry will continue to shrink. Expect approximately 1" of shrinkage to occur on the length of the pants and sleeves.

This men's gi was designed in compliance with IBJJF's latest gi uniform guidelines. In 2024, the IBJJF updated their gi uniform rules, introducing strict requirements that prevent a lot of older Jiu Jitsu gis from passing inspection at IBJJF events. For males looking for a lightweight gi to make weight for competition, or simply for a lightweight gi to keep them cool while they train BJJ, this comp ultralight gi is the answer. Our Comp Ultralight Jiu Jitsu Gi for men checks all the boxes for IBJJF uniform inspection and is completely legal to compete in at IBJJF events and all other BJJ tournaments where a gi is required to compete.
